Object Handling Sessions
We offer a variety of 45 - 60 minute object handling sessions which support teaching in a range of subjects and learning at different ages and abilities.
Museum of Croydon handling sessions:
Riesco Gallery taught sessions:
- Victorian Life
- Croydon in the First World War
- Britain in the 1920s & 1930s
- Britain during World War Two
- Britain since 1948
- Homes and Houses in the past (which can include Transport or Toys)
Cost of services for sessions delivered from 1 April 2018 - 31 March 2019:
For object handling sessions delivered at the Museum of Croydon:
£90.00 per session for a maximum of 35 students. Visit to last up to 2 hours and include an object handling session with our specialist facilitator and exploration time in our galleries.
For object handling sessions delivered in schools:
Schools within the London Borough of Croydon boundary: £120 for the first session and £90 for each subsequent session on the same date (each one hour session can be delivered to a maximum of 35 students).
Schools outside the London Borough of Croydon boundary but within the London or south-east region: £130 for the first session and £90 for each subsequent session on the same date (each one hour session can be delivered to a maximum of 35 students).
Please note that we reserve the right to charge the full fee for pre-booked sessions which are cancelled with less than 10 working days notice.
