28 June - 20 September 2008
Monday to Saturday, 11am - 5pm
Ground Floor, Croydon Clocktower

Dr. Seuss has been delighting children and helping them learn to read for over fifty years with his unique combination of hilarious stories, zany pictures and riotous rhymes. However, few of us are aware of his ‘secret art’ that he rarely, if ever, exhibited during his lifetime.

Now you can discover all this and more at this very special exhibition that features an incredible range of prints, poetry, advertisements, cartoons, magazine cover designs, ‘unorthodox taxidermy’ sculpture and limited edition art to buy from this internationally best-selling children’s author.

Families can rediscover Dr. Seuss in our special ‘Dr. Seuss Reading Room’ where they can relax on a beanbag with a book.

A range of events accompanies the exhibition. Visit our 'What's On' page for details.

Also look out for the exciting ‘Seussian’ linked activities in the Clocktower and a Croydon Library near you.

Why not visit the award winning Museum of Croydon & Riesco Galleries while you're here. Entrance to both these galleries is also FREE.
