Our galleries and events are free unless otherwise stated.
For drop in events, places will be allocated on the day on a 'first come, first served' basis.
For family workshops all children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child.
If you have any questions or suggestions for events, please contact us, we will be happy to help.
All our family workshops take place from 11am to 4pm and are free, drop-in, family events. Each activity is suitable for 5 - 11 year olds, although other ages can enjoy them too. They can take as little as 20 minutes to complete if you're in a hurry, but feel free to take as long as you wish and explore our galleries too. As well as our three, free galleries, Croydon Clocktower also has a great cafe and Library, including Children's Library, if you want to make a day of it. We hope you enjoy our activity programme and look forward to seeing you at Croydon Clocktower soon.
Saturday 16 September - Come and create a model of Croydon’s iconic skyline on Open House London day.
Saturday 23 September - Design a banner for International Day of Peace, inspired by the Women’s International League banner in our collections.
Saturday 30 September - Make a model Anderson Shelter and discover local people’s stories of 'The Blitz' in Croydon.
Saturday 7 October - Design a historic plaque celebrating the lives of black peoples in Croydon, part of Black History Month.
Saturday 21 October - Create your own artwork inspired by The Art of Fairfield exhibition.
Wednesday 25 October - Make a model racecourse and discover Croydon’s horse racing history.
Thursday 26 October - Make a pair of boxing gloves and discover the long history of the sport of boxing in Croydon.
Saturday 28 October - Draw a head full of your favourite objects, to show how culture inspires you.

'What the ... It happened in Croydon!?' Join us for a tour of the Museum of Croydon galleries at 2pm, 3pm and 4pm and drop-in to the Research Room anytime from 10.30am - 5pm to find out amazing facts about Croydon and its people.
Saturday 4 November - Make a First World War gas mask, remembering the end of the Battle of Passchendaele in 1917.
Saturday 11 November - Build a model cenotaph commemorating those people from Croydon who lost their lives in the First World War.
