Our galleries and events are free unless otherwise stated.

For drop in events, places will be allocated on the day on a 'first come, first served' basis.
For family workshops all children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

Events Programme: Summer 2018



Free, family workshops and events to keep your creativity burning brightly as the nights draw in!

All our family workshops take place from 11am to 4pm and are free, drop-in, family events. Each activity is suitable for 5 - 11 year olds, although other ages can enjoy them too. They can take as little as 20 minutes to complete if you're in a hurry, but feel free to take as long as you wish and explore our galleries too. As well as our three, free galleries, Croydon Clocktower also has a great cafe and Library, including Children's Library, if you want to make a day of it. We hope you enjoy our activity programme and look forward to seeing you at Croydon Clocktower soon.





Saturday 1 December - Make your own stained glass window inspired by H Bacon and Son's Window in the Museum gallery.


Saturday 8 December - Be inspired by the Museum's upcoming exhibition Croydonians and create your own Self Portrait.


Saturday 15 December - Collage a stage with your pantomime favourites!


Saturday 22 December -Join us to create some seasonal decorations.


Saturday 29 December- Plan 2019 by creating your own calendar.


Wednesday 2 January- Be inspired by the Riesco collection to design your own pottery made from tissue paper.


Thursday 3 January- Piece the bones together to make an Anglo-Saxon skeleton.


Saturday 5 January Recognise World Braille Day and learn to write your name in braille.


Saturday 12 January- Create a hat inspired by the people who help us!
