Our galleries and events are free unless otherwise stated.
For drop in events, places will be allocated on the day on a 'first come, first served' basis.
For family workshops all children under the age of 8 must be accompanied by a responsible adult and all adults must be accompanied by a child.

A cut and paste collage workshop using copies of archival materials to document your own stories of Croydon.

Croydon Voices with Mireille Fauchon
Join Mireille in a participatory performance to mark her residency at the Museum of Croydon. .
All our family workshops take place from 11am to 4pm and are free, drop-in, family events. Each activity is suitable for 5 - 11 year olds, although other ages can enjoy them too. They can take as little as 20 minutes to complete if you're in a hurry, but feel free to take as long as you wish and explore our galleries too. As well as our three, free galleries, Croydon Clocktower also has a great cafe and Library, including Children's Library, if you want to make a day of it. We hope you enjoy our activity programme and look forward to seeing you at Croydon Clocktower soon.
Saturday 12 January - Create a hat inspired by the people who help us
Saturday 19 January - Make a crocus flower and find out about the origins of Croydon's name
Saturday 26 January - Recognise Croydon's parks and open spaces and create your own feathered friend, inspired by the RSPB's Garden Birdwatch
Saturday 2 Feburary - Join the celebrations of the Chinese New Year by creating a Lion Puppet
Saturday 9 February - Celebrate 150 years of the Croydon Advertiser, by creating art out of Croydon newspapers
Saturday 16 February- Make your own violin, inspired by past musicians of Croydon like the Petherick family
Wednesday 20 February - Come and find out what 'Make do and mend' meant during World War Two
Thursday 21 February- Create a Roman crown of Laurels
Saturday 23 February Collage a canal boart, inspired by the Croydon canal which opened in 1809
Saturday 2 March- Create your own set of tools like 'Tom's Tools in the 1900-1938 gallery as we recognise Apprentice week.
Saturday 9 March- Join us to make a bookmark inspired by the Bones of Croydon exhibition
Saturday 16 March- Celebrate St Patrick's Day and create an Irish dancing dress
Saturday 23 March- Have fun re-creating Croydon's old Cattle Market
Saturday 30 March- Make horse drawn wagons inspired by the Surrey Iron Railway
