The Riesco Collection

A stunning collection of Chinese ceramics dating from 2500 BC to the 19th century. High points include amazing Tang dynasty tomb models and beautiful Ming dynasty bowls. The collection was left to the London Borough of Croydon by local businessman Raymond Riesco.



Open Monday to Saturday 11am - 5pm
Entrance to the gallery is FREE



Special Exhibitions in the Riesco Gallery



As well as the object cases, the Riesco Gallery features a central display case which is used for special projects. We work with the Riesco Community Panel to programme this space.

'From a rock to a hard place: constructing Chinese ceramics'



This small exhibition by the Museum of Croydon explores methods of ceramic manufacture including handworking, moulding and throwing techniques.
