The Riesco Collection

Photo of the interior of the Riesco Gallery at Croydon Clocktower

A stunning collection of Chinese ceramics dating from 2500 BC to the 19th century. High points include amazing Tang dynasty tomb models and beautiful Ming dynasty bowls. The collection was left to the London Borough of Croydon by local businessman Raymond Riesco.

Open Monday to Saturday 11am - 5pm
Entrance to the gallery is FREE

The Riesco Gallery will be closed to the public from Monday 6 September until Saturday 9 October, when our new exhibition 'Dragon Tales' will open to the public. We apologise for any inconvenience and look forward to welcoming you the newly refurbished gallery in October.

Special Exhibitions in the Riesco Gallery

As well as the object cases, the Riesco Gallery features a central display case which is used for special projects. We work with the Riesco Community Panel to programme this space.

If you wish to know more about the Riesco Community Panel please use the feedback link at the top of this page.
