This "Dansette" record player was a popular model in the 1950s. Sally Thomas of New Addington remembers her sister having one. They shared a bedroom during their teens in the late 1950s. "She used to drive me mad because I'd be trying to do my homework one side and she'd have Tommy Steele yelling the other".
