Description
A Camera used by Gee Bernard of Thornton Heath in her evening classes in photography in 1966. Gee had split up with her husband and was bringing up two children on her own. She worked in poorly paid catering jobs during the day and studied in the evening to improve her employment prospects. She had to save up to buy the camera equipment.
