This tea caddy spoon was made for Wilson's, a high class cafe and tea warehouse at 7 North End, Croydon. Wilson's was set up in 1882, but by the late 1930s it had branches near the tram terminus in Purley and others in Sutton and Bromley. The caddy spoon was the Wilson's trademark and they were sold and given away to customers. On the bowl of the spoon it says ""The drink of health"" and on the handle ""Wilson's pure tea, Croydon"".
