Child's Chair and Table
A child's chair and table designed by Ken Baker of South Norwood in the early 1970s. These are part of a range of play furniture called Kid's Kits. Made from plywood, it was sold in flat packs by mail order. Once assembled it could be painted or varnished. The chair becomes a child's table or adult's stool by turning it through 90 degrees. Kid's Kits were intended to be basic, versatile and fun.
